Salute to Service Week - November 16-20. A different branch of the military will be in the counseling office during Knight Block each day.

Students went to AGI to learn about career opportunities in the engineering and computer science industry. They spoke to some current employees in research/design & technical support, as well as had an opportunity to use some of the company satellite software.

Students from East and Rustin went to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to tour the campus and learn about the programs that they offer. https://www.stevenscollege.edu/

Students from East and Rustin took a tour of the 6ABC Studio in Philadelphia, seeing behind the scenes and learning about career opportunities in broadcasting

Students from East and Rustin spent a day at DOW in Collegeville. They learned about the company, spoke to employees, participated in STEM activities, and got to see a lab. We were the first high schools that DOW had ever hosted at their facilities! We look forward to returning in the future as they were amazing hosts!

Students from Henderson and Rustin took a tour of the shipyard and learned about their amazing apprenticeship program. Thousands of jobs to be added over the next few years, which is a great opportunity for those interested in working in the trades. They want to build more ships!

Students from Rustin, Henderson, & East were treated to a day of learning about different kinds of engineering by the professors at Villanova University. They participated in hands-on activities related to civil, mechanical, chemical, and material science/engineering. https://www.villanova.edu/university/engineering.html
