🌟 School Opens on Wed., September 2, 2026 🌟

Dear SWS Families,

Welcome back! We hope your summer was filled with sunshine, rest, and plenty of time with family. While the halls have been quiet, our teachers have been hard at work preparing their classrooms, planning lessons, and getting every last detail ready for a wonderful first day. The bulletin boards are going up, the name tags are ready, and the excitement is building!

We are thrilled to welcome our very first class of Bobcats to our brand-new Preschool Building. Everyone has put in tremendous effort to have it ready for opening day.

The best part about SWS is that we are a family, and we all help each other. We can't wait to see our students' smiling faces walk through the doors on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Each of them brings great energy, experience, and a love for working with children, and they are already hard at work getting ready for our students. When you see them at Open House or around the building, please say hello and help them feel right at home.

PURPOSE of OUR NEWSLETTERS

Our newsletters keep you connected to everything happening at SWS. Every other week, we'll share important dates and reminders, celebrate what our students are learning and accomplishing, and give you a peek inside our classrooms. Our goal is simple: to make sure families always feel informed, included, and part of the SWS family — because when home and school work together, our students thrive.

We will release these newsletters every other week beginning September 11th. Occasionally, a busy week may delay an issue by a few days, but we will always do our best to keep you informed and up to date on SWS happenings. We will take pictures of students learning and share the exciting things happening in our school. If you do not want your child photographed, please let Ms. Hill know at thill@sandystonwalpack.org.
