Notes from the desk of Mrs. Richardson:

Hello Clinton Middle School Families,

Welcome (back) to another exciting school year at Clinton Middle School! I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends. As we prepare to kick off the new year, we are energized and committed to making this school year one of growth, connection, and success for every student. Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, we are so glad to have you as part of the Redwolf family. Together, we’ll continue building a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students thrive both academically and socially.

We’re also excited to share that Clinton Middle School has officially moved into the former high school building! Over the summer, our teachers, administration, and custodial staff have worked hard to get the space ready for a successful school year.

That said, please note that the future main entrance off Kehoe Drive is still under construction. I will send out updated information closer to Open House regarding the appropriate entrance to use for the evening. Additionally, my August 24th communication will provide details about the temporary location of the middle school office and how to access the building during this transition. Thank you for your patience and support as we settle into our new home.

Grade-Level Newsletters
Beginning the week of September 8th, you will receive weekly grade-level newsletters every Monday morning. These newsletters will include details about what students are learning in each core content area, along with upcoming assignments and assessment dates.

Student Planners
Planners are a valuable tool to help students stay organized and keep track of assignments and important dates. Teachers will outline expectations for planner use in the weekly grade-level newsletters.

Academic 15
Each morning, students will participate in our Academic 15 block—a dedicated time designed to build essential skills for middle school success. This includes:

  • TRAILS lessons focused on social-emotional learning

  • Character Strong lessons to develop empathy, healthy habits, and life skills

  • iWellness check-ins

This intentional time supports both student well-being and academic growth.
