Hello School 8 Families!
We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new team supporting your childβs emotional, social, and academic growth this year! We are excited to work with students, families, and staff to create a supportive and positive school environment.
Brian Platt β School Guidance Counselor
As the School Guidance Counselor, my role is to support students in navigating their emotional well-being, personal development, and academic success. I work with students individually, in small groups, and in the classroom to help them build important skills like problem-solving, self-regulation, and healthy relationships. Whether your child needs help adjusting to school, making friends, or simply managing school stress, Iβm here to guide them along the way!
Aimee Jimenez β School Social Worker
As the School Social Worker, I focus on supporting students and families by addressing challenges that might be affecting their emotional health or academic performance. I work with families to connect them with resources, help students cope with difficult situations, and provide a safe space for children to talk through personal challenges. I also collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure that each childβs unique needs are met.
Together, weβre here to ensure that every student feels supported, valued, and ready to thrive. We believe that a strong partnership between school and home is essential, so please feel free to reach out to either of us if you have any questions or concerns, or if thereβs anything we can do to help your child succeed.
We look forward to getting to know each of you and making this a fantastic school year for all our students!
