Student Shout outs!
Student shout outs
We want to recognize our amazing student Brayden! This is Brayden’s second year in the ATP program and he has made such amazing progress in the first weeks of the school year already. Brayden worked hard this week helping his classmates with our paper shredding job, custodial duties, working on art work, and has shown us just how kind and respectful he can be towards his other classmates by cheering them on daily. We are incredibly proud of you Brayden! Keep up the great work!
About us
About BUSD ATP
BUSD ATP is a comprehensive educational support network that helps students with disabilities, ages 18-22, gain the skills necessary for a successful transition to adulthood. Our program combines classroom instruction, work experience, volunteer opportunities, and community-based learning to help students achieve their post-secondary goals in education/training, employment, and independent living.
Our ATP students embody resilience, determination, and the power of never giving up. They remind us that learning is not bound by age or limitations, but by the drive to grow, explore, and embrace new challenges. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a triumph that showcases their strength and perseverance. In the classroom, they inspire not only their peers but also educators, creating an environment where patience, understanding, and encouragement flourish. These students prove that education is a lifelong journey, and every person, regardless of their abilities, deserves the opportunity to thrive, learn, and shine in their own unique way.
Our Approach
We integrate real-life experiences into education, ensuring our students successfully transition into meaningful careers and independent living pathways. Students are guided to explore opportunities in the community while receiving the individualized support they need.
