Pinnacle Wrestling Boosters Update

Please note wrestlers cannot compete until this is paid. This is the fee you pay to the school (link here). If you haven't paid yet, system email reminders have been seen from RegisterMyAthlete on 11/29 (and others previously). Wrestlers missing sport registration fee include 19 Boys (7 are on Varsity) and 2 of the 3 Girls. If you've already paid and it's not showing in RegisterMyAthlete yet, please contact Coach Zack.

Also, please make sure you've paid your Booster Fee (link here) which is also due today. Thank you!

🤼‍♂️ Welcome to December! November was jam-packed with incredible events, accomplishments, and memories... and we’re just getting started! From the Intrasquad Wrestle-Offs and the 20th Annual Mountain Run to our Zeffy Fundraiser momentum, Pinnacle Wrestling showed up strong.

🏆 Highlights from November:

• Zeffy Fundraiser: We’ve raised $12,616 of our $15,000 goal (84%) so far — we’re SO close! Please keep spreading the word and sharing the link so we can hit 100%! 👉 View Fundraiser Progress

• Intrasquad Wrestle-Offs: 33 matches in 90 minutes — all wrestlers got at least one match, many with two!

• 20th Annual Mountain Run: Great turnout and incredible energy. Congratulations to Edwin Saucedo, who won it in just 34 minutes!

• Thanksgiving Team Workout: A fun morning of football-field drills followed by Ultimate Frisbee. Word is Max Morell may or may not have caught a score over Coach Surdyka!

Now it’s time to roll into December and our official competition season is here.We’ve got our first meets and tournaments this week, plus important gear, food, and travel details below.

Gear Distribution

All wrestlers competing this week will receive their competition gear. Please make sure they care for all items including backpacks, headgear, singlets, warm-ups, etc.

🔹 Gear should be washed after every competition
🔹 Lost or damaged items must be reimbursed so replacements can be purchased

📅 Wednesday, December 3 - ALL WRESTLERS - Tri-Meet @ Sunnyslope HS

• Wrestlers will meet immediately after school and plan to depart by 2:30PM. Wrestling will start at approximately 4:00PM.

• Boosters supply water and snacks

• Wrestlers may also bring their own food/drinks

📅 Friday, December 5 - VARSITY Boys/Girls - 51st Annual Jerry Benson Invitational Tournament @ Buckeye HS. Qualifying wrestlers will also compete on Saturday, December 6.

• Arrive at Pinnacle by 6AM with planned departure at 6:15AM. Wrestlers will be excused from school.
• Boosters will be providing breakfast and lunch on both days, and post-tournament dinner on Saturday. Boosters will also supply water/snacks. Wresters may bring their own food/drinks as well.
• There will be a number of concessions and food trucks onsite for spectators as well. You can find full tournament details on the flyer 👉

📅 Saturday, December 6 - JV/FRESHMAN BOYS - 20th Annual PV Duals Tournament @ Paradise Valley HS.

• Arrive at Pinnacle at 7:30AM with planned departure by 7:45AM. First rounds start at 9AM.
• $5 Spectator admittance fee
• Boosters will provide lunch and supply water/snacks. Wresters may bring their own food/drinks as well.

📅 December 10 - ALL WRESTLERS First Home Meet! Let’s pack the gym and support our team! Details to come.

📅December 13 - JV/Freshman Tournament @ Canyon View HS in Waddell, AZ

📅 December 19 Weekend - Varsity/Girls Tournament @ Mountain View Marana (Tucson). Travel details coming soon for our first out-of-city tournament of the season.

📅 December 22-Jan 2 - Winter Break Practices. Make sure to check the calendar for the updated winter break practice schedule. Staying strong all winter long 💪
