17th- nine weeks end AND Firehouse on Wheels

18th- FIRST NINE WEEKS REWARD

22nd- Haunted School 5:30-7:00pm

23rd- 2 hr delay (doors open at 10:20am)

24th- report cards issued

25th- Pre-K ELRS reports issued

This month we have a lot of great things taking place at Winchester Avenue. October is packed full of events. Please be sure to check your child's classroom newsletter to stay informed. This month we recognize Fire Prevention Week, School Lunch Week, and Red Ribbon Week. We also have our Haunted School Event on October 22, 2024. We look forward to learning new things this month, as we continue to SOAR to success.

As students continue to adjust to school, we ask that you check in with your child each day. Please remind them to respect staff and students. Student safety and learning are our top priorities. With your help, we can encourage better choices from our kiddos that our struggling to follow school rules. We want to SOAR to success!

The form below is in your child's planner. Please reference the form to ensure you are tracking absences. We miss our kiddos when they are not in school.

We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.
