DMS Delivers

Dear DMS Families,

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to Open House. We saw a lot of smiles on student faces as they were able to take families around to see their classrooms, and meet their teachers. We hope that you all enjoyed the night, and we are thankful that all worked out after having to postpone from a few weeks ago. October has already been a busy month, and will continue to be as we move through the next few weeks.

Today our 7th and 8th graders had a visit from DRRHS students and staff. The high school students presented on everything that DRRHS has to offer as students begin to think about high school. If there are any questions regarding high school that arise as we move throughout our school year, please feel free to reach out to Mr. Andrade in Student Services. He is available to discuss any questions that you may have. In addition, students can also seek him out during WIN or lunch period to discuss any questions that may arise throughout the year. As a reminder, Green and Gold Night will take place next Thursday, October 17th from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at DRRHS. This event is open to all 7th and 8th grade families, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Below, you will find further information on MCAS Score Reports, Green and Gold Night and PTO Spirit Wear, as well as information on the DFD Open House, the Patriot's Pen Essay contest, and DES/DMS National Bullying Prevention Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Days. Please also find our Wellness Committee Newsletter here.

Don't forget that a physical with current immunizations is required for all 7th grade students by October 15th.
