NES 12/16/24 Family Newsletter
12/16/24

Dear NES Families,
Shout out to our students for working hard on each of their state assessments over the past two weeks! Staff and students pushed through and showed their resilience and flexibility as we dealt with internet outages unexpectedly.
Reminder, we have an early release day on Friday, December 20th. Students dismiss at 11:30AM and should picked up no later than 12:00PM. Please make sure you have made arrangements to have your student picked up on time for that day.
Thank you to all who attended our Winter Wonderland and helped support our Book Fair throughout the week!
Due to the break, please expect the next newsletter the week of January 6th. Last day for students is December 20th for Winter Break. Students return on January 7th.
Reminder - All important information shared digitally will be through Rooms. We will no longer have access to ClassDojo or Talking Points. Please be sure you have signed up ASAP for the app in order to get notifications from NES in a timely manner.
Our new school t-shirts from the pre-order were delivered, but many have still not been picked up and paid for. If you pre-ordered a school t-shirt for your student, please be sure to send or bring in your money to pick up your student's shirt. Beginning 12/17, the current t-shirts we have that have not been claimed will be on sale on a first come first serve basis.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and we will see students back on Monday!
GOOOOO TIGERS!!!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Jessica Lowe, Principal
Mrs. Heather Briney, Assistant Principal
