Cheetah Newsletter June 3 , 2026
From the Principal
Happy Wednesday Cherrydale Families,
One of our favorite Cherrydale traditions is just around the corner! Our annual Field Day will take place on Friday, June 5, and we are excited to celebrate a year of hard work, growth, and learning with a day full of fun and teamwork.
Field Day participation times are:
- TK/Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 9:55a - 11:20am
- 2nd & 3rd Grade: 1:25pm - 2:50pm
While the current forecast is calling for rain, please know that we have a plan in place and are prepared to move forward with Field Day activities. We encourage students to come dressed appropriately for the weather and ready to participate in the day's events.
A special thank you goes out to our PE teacher, Mr. Kirby, and PTA for the countless hours spent planning and organizing this event. Their dedication and support help make Field Day a memorable experience for all of our students.
As we enter one of the final weeks of the school year, we look forward to continuing this beloved tradition and celebrating our amazing students. We can't wait to see the smiles, teamwork, and school spirit that make Cherrydale such a special place!
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a fantastic Field Day!
Warm Regards,
Christine Firth, Principal
