Building Improvement Survey (First Posting)
Orrington is constantly looking to improve! Please take THIS survey to provide feedback on possible improvement projects.
We have the opportunity to write a small grant that focuses on building improvements that will help instill a sense of pride of the Orrington community. Please provide feedback ASAP!
5 Essentials Survey (First Posting)
Your child(ren) will be bring home a flyer with a QR code to take the 5 Essentials Survey. If you return the flyer after taking the survey (or if you have taken it), you will be entered into a raffle to win Orrington Gear from the Spiritwear Website.
The 5 Essentials is an important survey, which allows Orrington to hear from our staff, our students, and our families. The results of the survey are then used to help craft our school work plan to improve for our community. By participating, more voices are heard and our school goals are able to reflect that.

Kuumba Evanston Olympic Sports Program (First Posting)
Kuumba Evanston is thrilled to announce the launch of a new initiative aimed at fostering the love of sports, teamwork, and personal growth among current 3rd to 5th-grade students. The free Olympic Sports Program is not about winning; it's about expanding sports access, embracing the joy of the game, cultivating sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and encouragement, and challenging both mind and body to achieve greater heights.
The program will offer 17 different Olympic sports, including but not limited to track and field, basketball, soccer, swimming, badminton, wrestling, bowling, volleyball, and gymnastics. In addition to competitive, Olympic style games and challenges, experienced coaches and mentors from Evanston will lead engaging sessions focused not only on skill development but also on instilling values such as perseverance, empathy, and cooperation.
