Upcoming Events
Tuesday, April 28: Testing Begins- see schedules below.
Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 8: Teacher Appreciation Week
Class of 2026:
Parents of seniors, please check with your students about whether they've completed the following two forms: Deadline: Wednesday, May 13.
1. The Class of 2026 AC Flora Senior Scholarship Form tells the counseling department and the school district how much scholarship money you were offered from colleges and universities. You need to report ALL money received, even to schools you do not plan to attend. You should fill out this form each time you receive a new scholarship offer. This form can be completed multiple times so that you can add additional scholarships when they are received.
2. The Class of 2026 Senior Post-High School Information Sheet tells us what your plans are for next year.
Senior Night
The Class of 2026 Senior Night will be held on Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 pm in the AC Flora Competition Gym. ALL seniors and their parents are invited to this annual event that honors the senior class and their accomplishments.
If you have any questions about Senior Night, please contact our Senior Class advisors, Ms. Dallas and/or Ms. Davis, at kathryn.dallas@richlandone.org and/or eleni.davis@richlandone.org.
Decision Week 2026
Decision Day will be held on Friday, May 1! Leading up to the day, we will celebrate with dress days. Please see flyer below.
Decision Day is a "whole day" event where classes/individual students will visit the rotunda and celebrate their milestones. Whether it's college, military, or the workforce... we are so proud of them!
Students will be participating in Decision Day during their Economics classes. Any seniors that do not have economics or are off campus will have the opportunity to participate during the day.
Administrative Professionals Day
Wednesday, April 22, was Administrative Professionals Day. We are so grateful for these wonderful women (see photo) who keep our school running. L to R: Back row: Ms. Landano, Ms. Prioleau, Ms. Cross, Ms. Oliver. Front row: Ms. Hughes, Ms. Stokes, and Ms. Jennings.
And congratulations to Ms. Cross, who recently earned a paraprofessional microcredential. She demonstrated expertise in key areas, including communication with families and maintaining student privacy.

From Flora Athletics:
NEW Athletic Registration Site for the 2026-2027 School Year
Richland One School District Athletics utilizes an online platform to complete all athletic registration requirements. Over the past several years, we have used Big Teams. Big Teams has recently merged with Arbiter Sports and Arbiter Registration is now the official platform for registering your student-athlete for the 2026-2027 sports season. Although the platform is new, the required athletic pre-participation forms and documents remain the same-just presented in a more user-friendly format.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: You will create ONE Arbiter Registration Family account and register each of your student-athletes for their respective school’s athletic program.
STUDENT ATHLETES: You must be completely registered and approved in Arbiter and meet all academic eligibility requirements prior to participating in sports.
A valid sports physical dated ON OR AFTER April 1, 2026, must also be uploaded in Arbiter as part of the registration process.
We are excited to begin using Arbiter, as this transition provides a simplified registration process to help get your student-athlete ready for a successful 2026-2027 sports season. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
