Hello Parents!
Happy New Year! The 2026 Scholastic Book Fair will be held Wednesday, February 25th (conference day) at both TIS and TES! I am asking early for volunteers to: set up the fair, help with sales on Conference day, and to help pack up the unsold books after the fair. If you can help even for an hour it would be greatly appreciated! Click the link to sign up for days to help at TIS. There is a separate sign-up sheet for TES volunteers!
Thank you so much!!

Sign-up for Girls on the Run is live!
Coach Murray is so excited to be bringing Girls on the Run back to Telluride.
This is an incredible running program because it is so much more than just running! Girls on the Run is a curriculum that helps girls build confidence, strength, teamwork, and so much more.
Our practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 at Telluride Elementary School (TES). Coach Murray will walk students from TIS over to TES after school. Pick up will be at TES!
Practices will begin on February 23rd and end on April 29th. There will be a 5K in Fruita on May 2nd with all the surrounding Girls on the Run groups.
If you are interested in having your daughter join us, please register using the link below:
(and financial assistance is available if you email Coach Murray!)
Any other questions, reach out to Coach Murray at emurray@telluride.k12.co.us
Looking forward to a great season!

Quality of Life Survey
As we look ahead to 2026, we invite community members to participate in the Quality of Life Survey - Tri County Health Network. This community-wide mental health survey is a collaborative effort shared by Tri-County Health Network, the Katz Amsterdam Foundation, and other local partners. The confidential survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is open to anyone 18 or older. It is available in both English and Spanish, and responses will help guide the future of mental health services across our West Mountain Region.
We encourage you to complete the survey as soon as possible and to share it with local friends, family, and neighbors. Your participation is essential to helping us reach our goal of 700 responses. The survey closes on February 7.
Dear Parents,
The Tellride Choral Sociey had the honor of offerring a singing workshop this past Wednesday to a handful of TIS students. We had such a blast and want to invite all students to sing with us for SpringSing this year!
Rehearsals will be Fridays 3:30-4:30 as usual starting on January 23. The concerts are Friday evening March 20, and Sunday afternoon March 22, and our final Wednesday dress rehearsal this year is March 18th.
Thanks again and we hope you're as excited as we are for SpringSing! Registration can be found here: https://www.telluridechoralsociety.org/sign-up-for-student-choirs/. In the meantime, please feel free to text, call, or email with any questions.
Thanks and hope to see a bunch of singers next week!
