"It's a great day to be a Panther"
October 28th - November 1st
Principals Message
Happy Friday Panther Families! It has been another fabulous week here in the middle school.
First, I want to thank all of our staff and families for coming to Parent/Teacher Conferences the past two Tuesdays. Your attendance at these conferences gives us more insight on how to best service your children, especially when it comes to their academic and social needs.
Next Friday, November 1st, is the end of our first nine week quarter. Students will have this next week to turn in assignments to their teachers. They will need to talk to their teachers to see which assignments can still be turned in and which ones they are no longer able to turn in for credit. We offer Success Center Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, where students are able to work on assignments and get some tutoring if they need it. It is important that our students stay consistent with their academic efforts, advocate for themselves when they need assistance, and check their grades regularly in PowerSchool to help decrease their anxiety around report card time. Our goal is to have report cards emailed to parents on Friday November 8, 2024. If you need to add/fix your email or have general PowerSchool questions, please contact the middle school office at (269) 623-1541.
Next week our student council has created Halloween Spirit days and we have attached that schedule in our newsletter. We encourage our students to participate, but I would like to give a few reminders:
- All outfits need to be school appropriate (words, pictures, sizes).
- Hats can be worn if they go with the Spirit Day theme and do not cause a disruption in the classroom.
- Masks cannot be worn on the bus or on school grounds.
- Students will be asked to wash off any body paint that leaves a mess on desks, chairs, etc.
- Costume weapons of any sort are not allowed on the bus or on school grounds.
- If a costume is a disturbance in the classroom, students will be asked to change.
As always, I would like to thank our students, staff, families, and community for all of their hard work and support. It is hard to believe we are almost done with our first nine weeks of school! Time waits for no one and I am always impressed on how our students take advantage of all the different opportunities for them here at school and in our community! Have a great weekend!
JUST CAN'T HIDE THAT PANTHER PRIDE!!!
PS: Good luck to whichever team you are cheering for this weekend and I hope for an exciting game. But for me, it's always GO BLUE little brother!!!

Athletic / Sports Sign-up Information
The athletic department has implemented some new tools and strategies to streamline communication and transparency throughout the department. These new programs should help streamline communication, event ticket purchases and potentially some registrations in the near future.
* Eventlink.com is where information for athletic events and facility usage can be found. Tickets and season passes can be purchased through Eventlink, and you are able to customize your experience by choosing which sports you would like communications from.
* Finalforms.com is where physicals and other important documents should go. These documents can be uploaded by your phone by taking a picture of the document.
* The Athletic Department would prefer all pay to participate payments go through this virtual portal for all Middle School and High School athletes.
Pay to Participate Fees can be paid HERE
