IE Experiences IE Experiences

Our Viking team used their IE on Thursday this week to focus on this week's Model Mustang: Empowered. They modeled examples of empowered by recognizing students who show these skills, gave suggestions for others to practice empowered as well.

They also talked about Growth Mindset, and what 6th graders need to be successful

Finally, students all week try their best to meet expectations of PRIDE. Teachers reinforce this by giving out PRIDE QR codes, essentially reinforcing the behaviors we want to see in our students. They ended the time celebrating winners of these Pride QRs and their student of the week.

Great job to all of our teams, but our VIkings for building community, teaching life longs skills to our students and celebrating the awesome kids we have at SMS!
