Smokie Says....

It has been such a fun and busy October at Sam Houston! From hands-on learning to festive traditions, our school has been a absolute flurry of activity:

• Field Trip Fun: Our 1st grade classes had a wonderful time exploring Deep Well Farms!

• Story Book Walk: It was amazing to see so many families join us—and we loved seeing all the creative monster costumes!

• Fall Learning: Across all grade levels, students have been diving into special fall-themed math, reading, and science lessons.

• Dressing up as Idioms: Our 3rd graders celebrated their learning about figurative language today by dressing up as idioms. It was a creative and fun way to bring their learning to life.

• Book Character Parade: Last but certainly not least, our 2nd graders showed off their fantastic costumes in our traditional Book Character Parade today!

We hope you all enjoy a fun, restful, and safe weekend with your families.

Reminder: There is no school on Tuesday, November 3rd!
