Our swimming carnival for 2025 went very well and the students enjoyed all the activities on the day. Thank you to Miss Alexis for organising and all the staff who helped on the day for this event to run smoothly. Unfortunately, due to our small numbers, we will not be participating in the West Kimberley Inter-school Swimming Carnival in 2025. We will review all of our carnivals early in Term 4, so that we can look at ways to ensure we are able to compete.
At the end of last year, I asked for families to join a committee for use to look at our current House (Faction) system and to look at how we can restructure to allow for better engagement for all students. I will ask for interest again at the beginning of Term 2 as this is something we need to look at prior to the start of 2026. Please look out for this request in the newsletter early next term.
NAPLAN is well underway and our students are working to the best of their abilities to complete the range of tests. I have been very pleased with the efforts made by all students so far and all should be proud of their positive and diligent approach to the tests. The final test will be completed on Monday, with catch up testing over the remainder of the week for any students who have missed any tests. Thank you to Miss Margaret and Miss Bec for organising and supervising the students.
Just a reminder to families that before school supervision of students, starts at 7.35am. We ask that children do not arrive before this time. Supervision of students after school, finishes at 2.35pm. We ask that all students are collected by this time. In the event that you might be late for pick up, please contact Miss Jenna in Admin so that your child can be notified that you will be late.
