The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF) thanks our Charity Heroes for raising funds for our district-wide student support programs and our schools! Half of all funds raised by our runners goes directly back into their schools. See the Team IPEF members that are representing your school and support them by donating here.

Safety & Security Information

With the FEMA and the FCC testing of the emergency alert system today, District 204 would also like you to be aware of emergency notifications that are available to you from our schools, the district, and in your community.

If an emergency occurs in your child’s school, you may receive a combination of any of the following communication formats: text/SMS message, phone call, or email. Please be sure your contact information is updated in ParentVUE to receive these alerts. Emergency information will also be posted on the IPSD website and the impacted school’s website.

As a reminder, please only share information you receive from the district, your child’s school, or your local law enforcement agency. Never reshare information shared on social media without verifying the accuracy of such information first.

Next Board of Education Meeting - October 16

The next regular Board of Education meeting is at 7 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Crouse Education Center, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora. Meeting agendas and documents will be available online prior to the meeting. Video of the regular meeting can be streamed live or viewed the following day at the District’s YouTube channel.

High School Students: Operation Snowball Retreat 'Just Breathe' Seats Filling Up!

Bus seats and cabin bunks are filling up for the iconic high school overnight retreat known as Snowball! The upcoming weekend retreat is October 28-29 at Camp Henry Horner. Transportation is provided to the overnight event, as well as meals. This teen-led/adult-guided retreat, themed "Just Breathe", offers students the opportunity to discover something about themselves, make friends, relax, and have some fun. The weekend theme focuses on self-care and taking a moment to JUST BREATHE with us! Registration closes Friday, October 6, so don’t wait!

Youth Advisory Committee Meeting

The YAC meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 17 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at 360 Youth Services (1323 Bond St #119, Naperville). Connect with others, and make a difference in your community! Pumpkin decorating contest and gourd giveaway included. Contact Sarah at Sindlecoffer@360youthservices.org before attending the meeting. Hope to see you there!
