Spring Program Parking Update
Pleasant View Families,
Due to the rain that is in the forecast for this evening and tomorrow, Pleasant View's intermediate playground field will most likely not be able to be used for Tuesday's Spring Program parking. I recognize that this creates problems, especially since our family events are so well attended.
For those who plan to drive to Pleasant View please know that we have less spots this year due to our construction project. Please consider bringing one car per family if you plan to drive to the school. Also, if you know of other families attending the same program, please consider teaming up so you have multiple families per car. I know that this is quite a bit to ask, but we will have very limited parking options this year. One other thing to consider is which program to attend. Traditionally, the morning program has fewer families attending as compared to the afternoon program. Feel free to come to the morning program even if your name is towards the end of the alphabet.
Parking will be available in our west and east lot as well along the edge of the field in the designated parking spots. If all of our parking areas are full, please consider parking on neighboring side streets. There is a sidewalk that connects Shadowbrook Drive to the Pleasant View campus. In addition, we have received permission from Pleasant View Baptist Church to use their parking lot as necessary.
Please do not park along any part of our driveway since traffic must continue to flow in and out of the school campus. Also, the bus zone will not be able to be used as a parking area since our buses will need to access this area in order to deliver and pick up our shuttle riders, as well as our kids at the end of the day. The same is true for our student pick-up zone in the west parking lot. Click here to see a map for parking at Pleasant View on Tuesday.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience this change causes, and thank you for understanding.
Sincerely,
Steven Cotton
