SHINE ON!

Best of Loudoun Finals!! GBP After Dark: Parents' Night Out

It’s Saturday...time for GBP After Dark! We are so excited to host our first Parents' Night Out! Spaces available! Check out the sign up below for more information!

GBP After Dark (AKA: Parents' Night Out) is Saturday, April, 25th from 5-8pm. Parents drop off and pick up their current GBP students and older siblings in the AG building (tan awnings on the corner of Market and Liberty). We'll visit stations in the AG and Education building (GBP) and enjoy snack. GBP staff and high school volunteers will be on hand to make this a fun night to remember! Please see the sign up below to register. GBP After Dark is a fundraiser, suggested donation: $30 per child, $75 per family made through Venmo @GBP-Leesburg (last 4 digits: 0173).

During Music and Chapel class this week, we had our April SHINE SESH. Each month we learn a new social skill. This month: being a good citizen! We discussed not only recycling and taking care of the Earth but also taking care of each other! Holding the door for someone, offering a smile or saying Hello, welcoming new families to the neighborhood. We read “I am Earth” by Rebecca and James McDonald.

There is no Special Chapel in April since May Special Chapel is May 13/14. We will celebrate May, June and July birthdays.

GBP is in the Finals for Best of Loudoun Preschool! We need to defend our title!! Please see link below to vote daily. We would greatly appreciate your inviting family and friends to vote too!

April Lunch Bunch, May Lunch Bunch and May Creative Movement Sign Up links below! Please note: May Lunch Bunch ends Thursday, May 14th in preparation for graduation and our annual LEGO building and lunch event (more to come on that toward the end of the month). Creative Movement is our only May Enrichment (no STEM or Art).

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.

-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm

-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm
