Educational Futures Planning
Make Your Voice Heard in Planning Our Next Decade
Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan (CEFP) Survey
Berkeley County Schools began the educational facilities planning process last month with an Educational Futures Conference that brought together students, families, staff, and community members to begin shaping what’s next for our schools. Together, we explored emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities that will guide the future of education and inform our updated Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan (CEFP).
Since then, an advisory committee of stakeholders—including parents, community members, business leaders, and district staff and administrators—has been meeting regularly to develop options for your consideration and input.
The next step in the 2025 CEFP revision process is a feedback survey and a series of Community Meetings scheduled for October 13 and 14, 2025. The survey covers the same information that will be shared during those meetings; however, in-person participants will also take part in group discussions not available online.
All feedback, whether submitted in person or through this survey, will be given equal consideration as recommendations are developed.
We appreciate your time, insights, and continued partnership as we plan for the future of Berkeley County Schools.
