Community Connections this Month

Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools has multiple ways to engage with the District during the month of January. State of the Schools and District Information Expo on Jan. 31 at Middle School West at 7 p.m. Check out the flyer for more information on how to join us!

Here are some FAQ's about 8th graders and their scheduling options next year.

The Athletic Department will be sitting in during lunches on Thursday, January 25th and Thursday, February 1st for Spring sports sign ups. Spring sports include Boys and Girls Track, Boys & Girls Lacrosse, Boys Tennis, Boys Baseball & Girls Softball. If your 7th or 8th grader is interested in trying out and playing for either of these sports, please have them sign up to receive information.

It is very important that if your child wants to be included in the photo, that they arrive at school on time!

Order forms were also passed out last week. There are more in the office if needed. Order forms must be submitted by Friday, January 26.

The high school student council would like to invite all Gahanna Jefferson students and families to attend GAHANNATHON. This event raises money for Nationwide Children's Hospital. So if you are looking for some family fun on January 20th, please consider this worthwhile event.

The Heart and Pride Award recognizes two outstanding staff members each month who make a profound impact on our students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools.

The Heart & Pride Nomination Form will remain available year-round and is open to any member of our staff, regardless of position.

April 8th -12th - Spring Break

May 3rd - Teacher PD Day No School for Students

May 24th - Last Day of School
