We’re kicking off the week with some great news! This week marks the completion of three more projects funded by the 2023 Bond, further expanding opportunities for Jarrell ISD students to learn and thrive.
The bond package, developed with input from parents, community members, staff, and stakeholders, includes the following projects:
Jarrell Ranch Middle School – Completed June 2025, $1.2 million under budget
District Operations Center – Completed May 2025, $900,000 under budget
Security Upgrades – Completed summer 2025
Enhanced Technology Infrastructure – Ongoing
New Choir Suite – Completed today (9/22/25)
Band Hall Addition – Completed today (9/22/25)
New Ag Barn – Completed today (9/22/25)
New School Buses – Delivered in the spring
Additional White Fleet Vehicles – Delivered in the spring
JHS Expansion Package 1 (secure entrance, library, fine arts, and Ag) – October 2025
Berry Creek Elementary – Under construction, opening August 2026
Administrative Annex – January 2026
New Paw Prints Facility – June 2026
JHS Expansion Package 2 (Career & Technical Education building) – June 2027
Elementary School #5 – TBD

These new facilities, upgrades, and renovations represent a significant investment in academics, fine arts, and athletics. At the start of this school year, every Jarrell ISD student experienced something new - whether it was expanded classroom space, the new Ag Barn, upgraded choir and band areas, improved security, enhanced technology, or additional buses.
Our dedicated team of architects, engineers, and construction partners has worked strategically to maximize resources, save time, and reduce costs. We extend our gratitude to Sledge Engineering, Huckabee Architects, Core Construction, American Contractors, and Satterfield/Pontikus for their commitment to excellence.
