Week Ending on 10/30/26

Spartan Families,

Students experienced and enjoyed various off campus adventures this week. Our 8th grade band went to view a performance from the Coast Guard Band, and our 7th graders took on the IT Adventure Ropes Course, where they worked together and pushed past their comfort zones. Thank you to everyone who wore pink for Pink Out Day in support of breast cancer awareness!

As we move into November, our Spartan Nation theme shifts from Accountability to Gratitude. Students will spend the month noticing the people and things that make a difference in their lives and finding ways to say thank you. A good question to ask at home: “Who is someone at school you’re thankful for, and why?”

A few reminders:

• No school Monday, 11/2 and Tuesday, 11/3. Students return Wednesday, 11/4.
• Veterans Day Program: Berlin Public Schools invites the community to our Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, 11/11 at Berlin High School. Details are below.

Amazing trip for our 8th grade band to see the Coast Guard Band play today.

The concert was interactive and completely inspiring! The band was awesome!

Shout out to our cafeteria staff for their fabulous costumes today (and for all the work they do EVERY day)!

Students dressed in pink today to support the CT Breast Health Initiative Organization. There was a suggested donation of $1. Students and staff raised over $225 with their efforts!

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Cell Phones, earbuds, smart watches, and various other communication devices are not allowed to be used during the school day and are to be turned off and placed in the student’s locker. We strongly recommend that any valuable, portable device be left at home.
