Attendance
Please phone in attendance or use the attendance email: ndhsattendance@rdcrs.ca
Parents/guardians have 48 hours to retroactively correct attendance. Students can not phone themselves in to excuse absences. This must be done by parents/guardians.
Students are marked Unexcused Absent (U) if they arrive 10 minutes or more into a class period. If they arrive within 10 minutes of the bell, students will be marked Tardy (T). Teachers do make note of the time the student arrives to the class. It is the responsibility of the student to connect with their teacher if they are late to class in order to have their attendance adjusted. It is only the teacher who can confirm whether the student was in attendance. If you believe that your student was incorrectly marked as absent unexcused, please have them speak to their teacher.
Locker Sign Up
Lockers will not be automatically assigned to students this year. Students can sign-out a locker by clicking on the link below:
- You must be signed in to your school account to complete the form
- Locker assignments are automatically generated
Once students have completed the locker form they can go to the office to receive their locker information. There is a $5.00 fee for a locker.
Parking Pass
If your child would like to purchase a parking pass for $20 for the year, they must first complete the Student Parking Application Form using the link ND Student Parking Application 2026-2027. Once the form is completed, students can come to the office to purchase their pass after having their picture taken and receiving their student ID. Please be aware that we have a limited number of parking passes available and they are available on a first come, first serve basis. After the allotted spots are sold, students will be placed on a wait list.
Parking at Notre Dame is also available, free of charge, along Lockwood Ave and Lees Street. Unfortunately, students who choose to park at the Collicut or at Notre Dame Plaza run the risk of receiving a parking ticket from the city. Please note that students must use their RDCRS school account to log in and complete this form.
Students with a valid pass may park:
- In the main lot including the section immediately north of the gym/portables. With the exception of the drop off lane and visitor parking areas.
- In the 27 designated spaces in the Collicutt parking lot during the day. These spaces are clearly labelled with "Permit Required" signage. Parking in the Collicutt lot outside of this section may result in parking fines.
Students without a valid pass may park
- On the north side of Lees St except in the bus stops.
- We ask students to please not park on the south side of Lees St. in front of the neighboring houses. It is important to us that we continue to be good neighbors to homes in our community.
- On the west and east side of Lockwood Ave except in the bus stops.
Reminder not to park*:
- In the labeled visitor parking spaces in the main lot. This area is reserved for guests.
- In the drop off lane immediately out front of the main doors.
- In staff parking lot north east of the school.
- On the south side of Lees St in front of the neighbouring houses. It is important to us that we continue to be good neighbors to homes in our community.
- At Notre Dame Plaza across from the fire hall.
- In the Collicutt parking lot outside of the designated area.
*Students who park in these areas may receive warnings or parking fines from the City of Red Deer.
Above is a map shows where students can park. The student parking spots are outlined in red. If you have any questions please feel free to connect with us at 403-342-4800.
