K-5 Spring Musical: Rescheduled, Wednesday May 13th at 6:30pm
St. John’s proudly presents The Kingdom Connection: Where the Bible Comes to Life!
Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding our recent snow day. We are excited to welcome our Kindergarten through 5th grade students to the stage on Wednesday, May 13th, for this special performance.
Student performers should arrive at 6:15 p.m. and report directly to their classrooms. The show will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
We look forward to an evening filled with joy, music, and celebration, and we can’t wait to see you there! Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community.
Your Voice, Their Growth: The 2025-26 Parent Survey
We would love to hear about your family’s experience at St. John’s School this year. Your feedback helps us grow, celebrate what’s working, and respond thoughtfully to areas of need for the direct benefit of our students. By sharing your perspective, you help us ensure that every child continues to Grow in Faith, Excel in Education, and Thrive in Community.
Survey responses are anonymous. Your insights will be reviewed by school staff, leadership, and the School Ministry Team to help shape the future of our school.
The survey closes on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Emergency Communications
In the event the school needs to communicate immediately with parents - such as a School Closure of Delayed Start - we use Remind to send a short message directly to your phone. We will also send a secondary email with the same information.
We expect all parents to sign up for these alerts to ensure you receive this information promptly.
If you are not yet signed up, please click the links below to join the appropriate notification group(s). If you have multiple students, you may join more than one group, but it is not necessary - all groups receive the same communication at the same time.

Save the Date: A Historic Last Day of School
We are switching things up for our final day of the year! While we usually head to the park for a picnic, this year calls for something a bit more monumental.
Please join us in the school parking lot on May 22 for our 250 Year Tailgate Celebration! We’re trading the park benches for truck beds to honor the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding.
A Legendary Special Guest
To make our Semiquincentennial celebration truly unforgettable, we are honored to announce that a live Bald Eagle will be joining us. Families will have the rare opportunity to visit with this majestic national symbol and see it up close.
The Game Plan
Pack up the car and bring the whole crew. This is a true community tailgate where families are encouraged to bring:
Grills, picnic gear, and coolers (Note: No alcohol is permitted on campus).
Backyard games like Cornhole to keep the celebration going.
Tables and chairs to set up your ultimate tailgate base.

AI Use in the Classroom | A Focus Group Opportunity
As AI continues to become a larger part of our world, we want to think carefully and faithfully about how it may be used in our school community. At St. John's school, we want students to grow as thoughtful, ethical learners who use AI appropriately when allowed — as a learning partner, not a learning doer.
We are exploring how to help students develop the habits, judgment, and responsibility needed for wise AI use in the classroom. We would value parent feedback, ideas, questions, and concerns as we begin these conversations.
If you are interested in being part of a parent discussion group on this topic, please fill in the Google Form. Your voice would help us think through how we can best support student learning, faith formation, and responsible technology use moving forward.
Final Chapel Offering
Final Chapel Offering of the year is a travel-sized hygiene items collection. These items will be delivered to a ministry in Juarez, Mexico, by a group of teens and adults from St. John's Church in the summer. Please drop off your items in the bins near the elementary school entrance and community room through May 15.
Dress Code Reminder: New Season
As we enter this new season, we wanted to send a friendly reminder about our school’s dress code requirements.
Over the course of the year, many students have grown, and items that fit well in the fall may now be shorter or no longer meet our guidelines. We ask that you take a few moments to review your child’s wardrobe and ensure that all clothing continues to align with our dress code expectations.
We greatly value your partnership in this area. Our desire is to cultivate an environment of excellence where students are prepared for learning and present themselves in a way that reflects respect for themselves, others, and our school community.
1st Day School Supply: Orders Due July 1st
We’ve partnered with 1st Day School Supply to make back-to-school shopping as easy as possible for your family.
Here’s how it works:
- Our teachers carefully select and customize each grade-level supply list
- 1st Day School Supply packs everything into one convenient box
- Your supplies are delivered right to you—no store runs required!
- Orders due
Once your kit arrives, just hold onto it and bring all supplies to school on Monday, August 10 to drop off in your student’s classroom. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your summer knowing school supplies are already taken care of. One less thing on your to-do list, and one more reason to soak up the sunshine!
Thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our faculty and staff. Your thoughtful notes, generous donations, treats, gifts, volunteer time, and acts of kindness truly made our teachers feel appreciated, supported, and loved by this wonderful community.
Teaching is a calling that requires endless patience, compassion, creativity, and dedication, and this week was a beautiful reminder of how deeply our school community values the work our teachers do each and every day for our students.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who contributed in big and small ways to celebrate our teachers and staff. Your support helped create a meaningful and encouraging week.
Thank you for helping make St. John’s such a caring and faith filled community.
