As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we invite you to join us in recognizing the incredible dedication, care, and hard work of our teachers.

Each day, our teachers go above and beyond to create meaningful learning experiences, build strong relationships with students, and support every child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping shape confident, capable, and compassionate young people.

If you’d like to participate, a simple note, drawing, or kind message from your child can go a long way in showing appreciation. Small gestures truly make a big difference.

I want to share an update regarding a change to our kindergarten schedule. We are no longer offering extended day Kindergarten. Kindergarten will start at 8:00 am (students can be dropped off at 7:30 am for breakfast) and dismissal will be at 11:50 am for the entire year. This adjustment has been made to ensure that all Lodi Unified students have equitable access to learning opportunities, instructional time, and support throughout the school day.

We understand that schedule changes can impact family routines, and we appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we make this adjustment in support of our students.

• Pull all the way up to exit to allow for more cars to come into the parking lot.
• Drive at an acceptable speed, be aware of people in the crosswalk.
• Allow cars to leave after they have dropped off or picked up; do not cut them off.
• People who enter the drop off lane in a vehicle MUST REMAIN in their vehicle.
• Park in the parking lot or outside of the parking lot if you would like to walk your child to the drop off gate.
