Meet Our Newest Fairfax Teachers

Fairfax is excited to welcome Mr. Hall as our new music teacher!

Mr. Hall joins us with 11 years of teaching experience (8 in Texas, 3 in Ohio), and is passionate about helping students discover the joy and confidence that music can bring. He earned his degree from Louisiana State University and is excited to become part of our Fairfax family.

A few fun facts about Mr. Hall:

• 🎤 Favorite musicians: Sara Bareilles, Lake Street Dive, Qveen Herby, & Chvrches

• 🔊 Favorite operas: The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute, & Die Fledermaus

• 🎙️Favorite musicals: Waitress, Six the Musical, Moulin Rouge, and more!

• 🐾 Pets: 1 cat, Mr. Sebastian (16 years old)

• 🍕 Favorite food: Spicy tuna roll, Pepperoni pizza

• 🌎 Favorite place to visit: NYC and Marseille, France

• 📚 Favorite hobbies: reading (mostly fantasy/sci-fi), crocheting, playing trivia

When asked what he wants students to know, he shared:

"Music is a universal language that allows us to create, helps us process our emotions, and connects across languages and cultures."

Fairfax is excited to welcome Ms. Minnillo as our new Title I Reading Teacher!

Although Ms. Minnillo is new to Fairfax, she is not new to our district. She is passionate about helping students build strong reading skills and confidence through targeted reading intervention and literacy support. Ms. Minnillo will be at Fairfax two days each week and is excited to become part of our Fairfax family.

" I am kind and supportive: I believe every student deserves a champion, and I am here for all of you.

I love to make learning fun: Expect plenty of energy, smiles, and engaging work in our room!
