In-Person MAP Testing Begins in May

In line with requirements from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, all MAP testing will be on-site (in-person). Building principals and teachers will reach out to families in the coming weeks with schedules, requirements and other details. Please pay attention to your email inbox and voicemails as information will be shared via these channels as well.

As a result of MAP testing there will be no early dismissals or late starts for students. EleMiddle and Early Learning Center students will have a full day of class on Fridays. High School students will login in or report to their first class on Mondays at 8:30 a.m.

Who's Your Favorite Teacher? Share the Love for Teacher Appreciation Week

For Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to hear from their favorite people - students!

We're asking students to submit a brief (30-60 seconds) video sharing who their favorite teacher is and why. The Normandy Communications department will compile the submissions into one video and share it on social media. (Videos containing inappropriate language, behavior or attire will not be considered.) Submit your video, along with your name, grade and school, to info@normandysc.org.

Deadline for submissions is Monday, April 26. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-7, 2021.

No Early Dismissals, No HS Late Starts in May

Due to MAP testing next month, there will be no Friday early dismissals or late start dates for students in May. Schools will remind students and families as we get closer to these dates.

There will be early dismissal for the EleMiddle schools and Early Learning Center on Friday, April 23. For the specific dismissal time, please check the NSC website calendar.

There will be a late start for the high school on Monday, April 26. High school students will login for their first class at 10:25 a.m.
