Making Progress Together
As we inch closer to the year 2030 considering the local and global challenges to safe, healthy, productive, peaceful, and sustainable living, you are encouraged to exercise your agency as a global citizen and global educator to take actions and make progress toward these goals. All the while, you and your students should be mindful of the fact that you are not alone in making this world a better place. In making plans for instruction, projects, service learning, and civic engagement, turn to your partners -- students, school leaders, communities-based organizations, elected officials, parents and families, businesses, and colleagues -- to advance learning about and developing the skills for peace, equity, innovation, leadership, and sustainability.
