School Newsletter - January 2026
A great year!
The new year is a wonderful gift in the middle of our school year! It gives us the opportunity to reflect and refine our approach making it possible for us to continue learning and growing as we meet all of our students needs! I am excited to make this a fabulous year and I know that we have greatness ahead!
There is only one way to ensure that we have the best year possible...and that is by making today as good as it can be! A fabulous year won't just happen. Rather we are going to start by doing our best now and setting ourselves up to do well again tomorrow! If a misstep occurs or we meet a challenge that is difficult to overcome, we won't let it rewrite our year! We will simply take positive strides forward each day!
The best year happens with a commitment to making the best day happen 365 days in a row! So let's start today! And then we will do it again...and again...and again! Thank you for your partnership in making this educational journey for each of our children nothing short of magnificent, one step at a time!
Katie Rexford, Principal

Lost and Found
We store our lost and found items in a bin in the front hall! If your child has not come home with their jacket, gloves, sweatshirt, or even their pants, please encourage them to look through the lost and found items! If you ever want to look through the lost and found, just stop in! We want items to find their owners!
We will donate items prior to leaving on breaks, long weekends or as the bin begins to overflow! If your child's name is on the item, we work to get it back to them as we go through things!

"Take charge of your learning adventure; you're the hero of your own educational journey." - unknown
What better gift to give our children then to hand them the reins of their life! We want them to know and understand the control they have each and every day! They get to decide where their story takes them!
Attendance matters and we are on the right track!
In the month of November, we had 104 students who were present EVERY DAY! This was an increase from October! For the month of December we continued to increase with 139 students not missing a single day throughout the month! I love this trend! Let's continue to work towards having our students present every day possible!
For 1st semester we had 21 students who achieved perfect attendance! Way to go! I will honor these students when we return in January! Congratulations!
Let's work together to continue supporting our students as they build a positive approach to work ethic and commitment to school and learning!
