Message From Mrs. Morgan:
Happy November! This past week has been a BUSY, but fun week! Boosterthon Fundraiser, Red Ribbon Week, Book Character Parade, OH MY!
This month, our focus is on thankfulness and giving back. Students will have opportunities to practice gratitude, participate in service projects (annual can food drive), and celebrate their academic and behavioral successes. We are so proud of their hard work and growth so far this yearβespecially as we prepare for our upcoming MAP assessments in December.

Sharon Elementary School thanks our Veterans! Please fill out the form below if you, your spouse, or another family member are active duty military or veterans. You will need to do a separate form for each service member.
On November 11th, we will have a program for these active duty/veteran service men and women beginning at 9 AM. Following the program there will be a hero walk in the school building and then a light breakfast for our guests.

Upcoming Special Dates π
At Sharon Elementary, we love celebrating our readers! Accelerated Reader (AR) helps students set personalized reading goals and track their progress. It encourages consistent reading practice, improves comprehension skills, and builds confidence as students grow as readers.
To make it even more fun, students who meet 50% of their AR goal by the checkpoint will get to visit our Treasure Trolley β a special reward for their hard work and dedication to reading!
Encourage your child to read daily and take their AR quizzes.
In December, our students will participate in the NWEA MAP Growth Assessments in Reading and Math. These assessments help us measure how much progress each student has made since the beginning of the year and guide teachers in planning instruction that meets each childβs needs.
Thank you for partnering with us in supporting your childβs academic success.
π PBIS π
At Sharon Elementary, we use PBIS β Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports β to help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment where all students can learn and grow. PBIS is a school-wide approach that focuses on teaching and encouraging positive behaviors.
As Jaguars, we ROAR. We are Respectful, Organized, Accepting, and Responsible. Please review and remind your child that we want to ROAR every day in the cafeteria, hallways, playground, and in the classroom. We have lots of fun plans for this school year to reward positive behaviors. The November/December Character trait word is Gratitude.
Upcoming Dates:
11/21/25: Prek, Kindergarten, and First grade-Movie and Popcorn Day. They will need 62 points to attend.
12/18/25: 2nd-5th grade-Winter Wonderland Stations
