Welcome Jet Families!

We hope all of our Jets had a fun weekend. GO SPURS GO!

It is so hard to believe we are almost at the end of the school year! We have completed our STAAR Tests, and we were at 100% participation! Thank you for ensuring that your child(ren) came to school during the testing window. Our students worked so hard, and we are so proud of them.

We also want our families to know that we know that every child is more than one test on one day. STAAR is just one way your child may show what they have learned, but it does not define who they are. We see your child’s kindness, creativity, effort, and growth every day. It is, however, the way that The Texas Education Agency hold schools and districts accountable for teaching the TEKS.

It is now time for Judson's End-of-Year (EOY) assessments. All students PK-5 will be given the EOY Universal Screeners. Universal Screeners are given 3 times a year, and it gives valuable information on student progress, achievement, and growth. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child(ren)'s teacher.

YAY!!! We are on a 3-week roll! We met our Attendance Goal of 95%again last week! Thank you students and parents for coming to school everyday! Let's keep leveling up and meet it again this week!

Don't forget to see who our "Guess the Staff" was last week. It is at the bottom of the newsletter. Will you guess this week's staff member?

Last week, we had our 1st annual PreK Earth Day Recycling Fashion Show! The students did such an amazing job, and we look forward to this annual event. We also had our Fiesta Parade and loved the creativity of all of the student floats!

Finally, we have a lot of celebratory events coming up in May. Please make sure you read through our Upcoming Events section of the newsletter.

Thank you for your patience at arrival and dismissal. We have a lot of JETS that are car riders and walkers, and safety is our

#1 priority.

In order to make sure that these busy times go smoothly and safely, we want to make sure everyone knows the procedures for arrival and dismissal times.

Doors open for Morning Drop-Off at 6:45 am, through the cafeteria. There is only one lane for parent drop-off in the morning. The lane closest to the curb is the lane for morning drop-off.

DIsmissal is at 2:50 pm, and car riders are dismissed through the cafeteria. There are two lanes for car rider parent pick-up. The two lanes closest to the curb are used for pick up. Please be patient and courteous to each other, as there is only one entrance.

Finally, please make sure that you are not blocking any intersections, walkways, or crossroads. We want everyone to be able to get where they need to go in an orderly and safe manner. Many students walk home and need these spaces to be open and clear. This includes the intersection of Misty Ridge and Frontier Ridge.

Last week's hint was:

This staff member was recently gifted a fiddle and has been taking fiddle lessons! They are really good!

Our secret staff member was the Greatest Principal on Earth-

MR. ELLIS!

Ready for this week's hint?

This staff member was once a Police Officer in the Marine Corps.

Who am I?
