Franzen Falcon
September 2026
Welcome to September
Welcome Back, Franzen Families!
We hope the transition back to school has been as easy as possible for everyone! It has been so great getting to see all of our students back in the building, meet new faces, and watch our students enjoy their time here at school.
The smiles, excitement, laughter, and learning happening throughout our building have been a wonderful reminder of what makes Franzen such a special place. Thank you for helping make the start of the school year such a positive experience for our students.
As we head into the three-day weekend, we hope everyone has the opportunity to slow down, enjoy some time together, and get some much-needed rest and relaxation.
We are looking forward to another great week at Franzen!

Parent Chaperone Training
We are excited to have our parent chaperones join us for field trips throughout the 2026β2027 school year!
As a reminder, all parent chaperones are required to complete the annual chaperone training each school year. If you have already attended one of our in-person chaperone trainings this school year, you are all set and do not need to complete anything further.
If you have not yet renewed your chaperone training for the 2026β2027 school year, please take a few minutes to:
- Review the Parent Chaperone Training presentation.
- Complete the Google Form acknowledging that you have reviewed the presentation and completed your training for this school year.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this important training and for your willingness to support our students. We truly appreciate our parent volunteers and look forward to having you join us on field trips throughout the year!
Thank you for being a valued part of our Franzen community!
8 Keys of Excellence
This school year, students will learn even more about the 8 Keys to Excellence through activities that include reflection and application. We encourage all students to go beyond being "respectful, responsible, and safe" to embody the characteristics of the 8 Keys. More information about each key and it's meaning can be found here.
π August Above the Line Recognition π
It was so great to celebrate all of our August Above the Line recipients! Each student was recognized for demonstrating one of our 8 Keys of Excellence and showing what it means to make positive choices and be a great example for others. We are so proud of each and every one of you! Congratulations to all of our August recipients! ππ

Lost and Found
Checking the lost and found is a helpful way to retrieve misplaced items. Parents and students should regularly visit the designated lost and found area. Commonly found items include jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles. It's beneficial to label belongings with the student's name to increase the chances of recovering lost items. Regularly checking the lost and found helps reduce clutter and ensures students have their necessary belongings.
