Dear Coyote Families,
We are down to the last 36 days of school! It is hard to believe we are already in STAAR season! Here is some important information for our campus:
- STAAR testing begins tomorrow, April 7. Our campus will be closed to visitors from tomorrow to April 23 for testing and make-ups. This means no parents will be able to have lunch with students or be on campus during this time.
-If your child does not require a backpack, please do not send them with one during testing days.
-Have you enrolled your student yet? The Current Student Registration has closed, so if you plan on returning to KISD for the 2026-2027 school year, you will need to complete a New Student Registration online. Please go to the KISD website and do so ASAP so we can ensure proper staffing for the upcoming school year!
- April 24 is a staff training day. There is no school for students this day, so please plan accordingly!
Thank you and have a great Monday!
Dr. Church
