Dear CPS Families,

With the first full week in the books, we want to say how wonderful it is to see classrooms establishing their rules and routines while building a classroom family. Staff and students are busily working together in so many ways. Classrooms have now experienced every specialist teacher and schedules are in full swing. Our staff last Friday wore their new China Primary T-shirts and there were many compliments on them.

Fall sports have started for many of our kiddos and we love to hear the stories of how things are going during practices and the anticipation of games. There are so many lessons that overlap between sports and school with being respectful and kind. Here at CPS this is always our goal for every person to feel accepted and valued.

Please be sure to communicate any changes for end of day dismissal plans prior to 2:00pm so students can be sure to receive their notes.

Welcome back! Please make sure to send in your health history forms and any other health related forms ASAP so that we have all the information needed to take the best care of our students. As a reminder, please DO NOT send any medications including inhalers and epipens in with your child. ALL medications must be brought to school by an adult and handed off to the nurse (or appropriate staff if the nurse is unavailable).

Flu shot clinic will be held on October 2nd here at CPS. Please make sure your child wears a short sleeve shirt if they will be getting a flu shot. Only students who have returned signed permission forms will be receiving a flu shot.
