Message from Principal Flores
Dragons,
What an incredible month of April we shared together! Once again I want to thank our Military Families for their service and commitment to our country. We have 6 weeks left of the year and the time is going to fly quickly. Please make sure that your Dragon continues to come to school everyday and on time. I look forward to seeing our families over the next couple of weeks!
End of Year Incentives
We have various events such as field trips, field day and prom for 8th Grade. Remind your Dragon that they must follow all school rules. If scholar receives an office referral, loss of privilege's will be the consequence.
Dia Del Nino/Kite Days
This week we celebrate our Dia del Nino with Kite Day. Make sure to review flyers for times. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday. Entrance is by the track. Bring your IDs.
STAAR Testing Incentive
To motivate our Dragons we will be replacing their 9 weeks scores IF their STAAR scores are at the Meets or Master's Level. Scores are to be released by the end of the month MAY. If they are released prior to 9 week testing, your child will not need to take their 9 Week assessment. See flyer for more details.
Fees for End of Year
Parents if your child owes any fees for library, technology, cafeteria or LOC. This all must be cleared to attend any field trip, campus events including dance or field day. Please help us to clear out all fines.
As always, my door is always open. You may also contact me to reach out for feedback, concerns at jflore18@sisd.net
Let's continue to strive for excellence and support one another in all our endeavors. Keep up the fantastic work, and always embody #TheDruganWAY
