Greetings, Laker Families-

Thank you for an incredible year of learning and building our Laker community together! The positive energy and teamwork focused on creating a safe place for students to thrive has truly enhanced our school wide theme of “Be Here…Be You…Belong.”

And now…a FINAL call for the retrieving of “lost & found” items at school until this Thursday (6/22) at 3:00pm. After that, ALL items will be donated to a local charity.

As we wrap up the 2022-23 school year, I would like to recognize some amazing staff members that have dedicated collectively over 75 years of service to students:

Please review the school newsletter that will be in your email the first week of August for the date our office will be open for service the week of August 21.

6/22 – LAST Day of school…12:15 early release (No lunches served)

First week of August, please watch for the “welcome back” Laker Anchor school newsletter with updates/reminders to gear up for school to start.
“Welcome Back” letters from your child’s teacher will be mailed out the week of August 21 (please watch for these to arrive prior to Back-to School Night).
August 30…Back-to-School Night (4:30-6:30pm)....We would love to see our students with the last name A-M attend 4:30-5:30 and students with the last name N-Z attend 5:30-6:30pm. Thank you for planning ahead for this to support adequate parking and movement throughout the building. (If your family has challenges attending during the designated 1-hour window, please attend when it works for your schedule.)
September 5…first day of school for 1st-5th!
September 8…first day of school for kindergarten!
