Attention parents of fourth and fifth graders! Another exciting opportunity is coming to TJS. Project Community Pride of the Madison YMCA is partnering with us to offer a series of “Craft & Chat” sessions taking place weekly on Wednesdays. The program will run from October 15-December 17 and will take place during the lunch period. Students will enjoy lunch while creating simple crafts. Together we will enjoy creativity as a coping tool, practice mindfulness, encourage positive self-talk, learn healthy ways to manage stress and share kind & fun conversation. This is a free program and space is limited. Please use the QR code on the flyer to sign your 4th or 5th grader up. Email Mrs. Bletcher at bletcherj@madisonnjps.org with any questions.

Hello Everyone!
What a busy week it has been!
A huge thank you to Deidre Mahaney, Krista Klein and Marissa Poli for planning a super fun pep rally inspired fall social last Friday night! We also want to thank the day-of volunteers who helped make the event run smoothly.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Joanna Maulbeck, Vanessa Avci and the day-of volunteers for planning another amazing after-school Pumpkin Patch for our students yesterday. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and our front stoops are now beautifully decorated with festive pumpkins.
Thank you again to every one who could attend our first PTO Meeting. Having people at the meetings leads to great new ideas and initiative, as well as a deeper sense of community and commitment. We want to thank Principal Garcia and Dr. Christy O’Connor for taking the time to join us. Be on the lookout for other PTO meetings throughout the year.
If you are Interested in helping out at the garden this year join The Garden Committee TODAY at 3:30pm (after dismissal) for a Garden Party Meet-and-Greet at the Learning Garden. The kids can have a popsicle and you can learn about the garden and volunteer opportunities.
Our Pizza Committee has been hard at work getting ready to kick off ½ day pizza on Monday!
Our volunteers are currently working hard on our upcoming events: the Turkey Trot and the Book Fair. We appreciate the time and energy our volunteers are contributing to make these events memorable and enjoyable!
Many thanks to our class parents who have organized our grade-level parent meet-and-greets. It’s such a wonderful way to reconnect and meet new parents. Our class parents are also busy prepping the in-school Halloween parties!!
Stay tuned for Turkey Trot and Square One details.
Thank you for all of your help and support - we could not do it without you!
