A2 Virtual+ End of Term Update

Dear Students and Families,

As we approach the end of another school year, I want to begin by congratulating our graduating seniors. Completing high school is a significant accomplishment, and we are proud of all you have achieved. If you are a senior who has already successfully completed your online course(s), you may disregard the remainder of this message.

For all other students and families, the final days of the trimester/semester are here, and the next week is critical. Please review the information below carefully, as it contains important deadlines and requirements that must be completed in order to earn credit for your online course.

Students should pay close attention to assignment submission deadlines and proctored assessment requirements. It is each student's responsibility to ensure that all coursework is submitted on time and that all required proctored activities are completed before the end of the term. Students who have questions about their progress or remaining requirements should contact their online teacher as soon as possible.

As we reach the end of the trimester/semester, we also ask students to continue demonstrating academic integrity in all of their work. Learning and growth are most meaningful when they reflect a student's own efforts, and maintaining integrity is an important part of earning course credit.

Thank you to our students for your hard work throughout the trimester/semester and to our families for your continued support. We look forward to celebrating the successful completion of another school year and helping students finish their online courses strong.

This is the final day for students to submit assignments for their A2 Virtual+ classes.

Exam Proctoring June 2nd - 8th
This is the exam week for Michigan Virtual and A2 Virtual+ Semester 2 and Trimester 3 classes. Students may complete their required proctored activities on any of these three days.

All assignments and assessments for Michigan Virtual classes must be submitted by Friday, June 5th.

All assignments and assessments for A2 Virtual+ Classes must be submitted by Monday, June 8th.

General Exam Proctoring Events at Skyline in the Media Center

• Tuesday, June 2nd: 4pm - 7pm - Michigan Virtual and A2 Virtual+
• Thursday, June 4th: 4pm - 7pm - Michigan Virtual and A2 Virtual+
• Monday, June 8th: 2pm - 5pm - A2 Virtual+

Building specific proctoring opportunities can be found in the A2V Proctoring and Building Support Schoology Classroom available through your student's Schoology access.

• All students must complete two proctored activities to earn credit for their course.
• It is the student’s responsibility to ensure this requirement is met.
• Students who do not complete both proctored activities will receive a final grade of “E” and will be ineligible to enroll in future online classes for two years.

• Withdrawals are not approved for students who have not made meaningful progress in their online course.
• To be considered for a withdrawal, families must submit a completed A2 Virtual+ Withdrawal Form.

Incidents of academic dishonesty often increase near the end of the term. Please review our policy, which includes definitions and examples of violations, so families can support students in completing their work with integrity.

Summer Term is a fast-paced opportunity for students to earn high school credit through A2 Virtual+ or Michigan Virtual. The A2V+ Summer Term is for initial credit only. This means it is only for students looking to take a class for the first time or for student who have previously passed a class and wish to improve their grade.
