KISD Football Game Expectations
KISD Families,
As we kick off another season of Killeen ISD varsity football, we are excited to welcome our students, families and community to Leo Buckley and Joseph L. Searles III stadiums.
Football games are an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and talent of our student-athletes, athletic trainers, cheerleaders, band and drill team members. We want every student, family and community member to have a safe and enjoyable game day experience.
Please keep the following expectations in mind when attending Killeen ISD varsity football games:
All KISD students must wear their student ID while attending district football games.
Home team students must sit in the student section. Students from other KISD schools may attend games and sit in general admission without an adult chaperone.
Clear bags are required, and backpacks are not permitted.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Because of anticipated high temperatures, spectators may bring clear plastic water bottles containing water. All bottles are subject to security screening.
Strollers, wagons and carts are not permitted.
Students may leave the stands to visit concessions and other permitted areas below the stadium, subject to directions or restrictions from district administrators.
Students should not congregate for extended periods below the stadium or near concession areas. After halftime, students will be expected to return to the stands.
Separate concession lines will be available for students and adults to help with crowd flow.
Security screening will remain in place at stadium entrances. Students should follow the directions of campus administrators, security personnel and event staff throughout the game.
Our goal is simple: keep the focus on our students and provide a safe, positive game day experience for everyone.
Thank you for helping us make Thursday and Friday nights something our entire Killeen ISD community can enjoy.
Sincerely,
Latisha Williams
Executive Director for Athletics
