Principal's Weekly Update

We are excited to share that Mr. Hightower our itinerant Principal is settling into his role at BGW. Over the past week, he has been actively introducing himself to students and staff, visiting classrooms, and building positive connections throughout the school community. We are grateful to have him on board and look forward to his support as we finish the school year.

As we move into the spring season with warmer temperatures, we kindly ask for your partnership in ensuring that students follow our school dress code each day. Warmer weather often brings changes in attire, so we encourage families to review the dress code guidelines with their child. Please refer to the parent and student handbook for specific expectations.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment for all students.

⚽Soccer

Soccer teams have been announced and practices will start soon. We will have a parentsquare group for soccer team updates, so be on the lookout for the invitation to the group.

First game: Thu, March 12th vs. Crystal MS @ home

Students MUST have their school ID to enter all games - no exceptions. Only students from BGW and opposing team will be allowed entry.

On Monday 3/2, the 8th grade packets will be sent home with students!

8th grade families: your student will be bringing home an important packet of information for you on Monday, March 2. Please ask about it! The acknowledgement page confirming you have reviewed it is due back on Friday, March 6. The class with the most participation will win a prize from the PTO!
