4th/5th Grade STAAR Night Presentation

The month of February let’s practice kindness together in school, as a family and in our community.

Emotional intelligence starts with understanding how we feel. When we can name how we feel, stress and anxiety start to lose their grip.

We’re able to pause, respond calmly and model emotional awareness for our children.

Our body is always communicating with us and letting us know how we feel. Understanding how we feel helps us take care ourselves.

Week 1- Self-Kindness video.

Watch our first 4-part miniseries video about Kindness, with tools to help children and adults connect with themselves and build emotional intelligence.

This week, listen to your feelings and listen to what you need to do to take of yourself.

Practice the tools with yourself first, then continue practicing with your children.

When we connect with our feelings, it helps us understand ourselves better and respond with kindness.
