Principal's Weekly Update

Dear Wildcat Families,

We are eager to see our students this Wednesday, August 13th! Please read the ENTIRE newsletter below for important information on forms needed, what to expect day 1, class schedules and more.

BGW School Calendar

Class Schedules

All class schedules are available in Aeries. Students will be given a paper copy of their class schedule on day 1 in their first period class, along with a campus map and bell schedule.

Class Change Requests

Students will have the opportunity to request a class change during the first week. No changes will be made the first two weeks as we balance classes. In addition, requests to change teachers or periods will not be considered. If there is a mistake in your child's schedule (ex. two science classes, missing PE), those changes will be given priority.
All class changes are dependent on space and availability.

Breakfast & Gate Open

Breakfast is provided to all students, and starts at 8:30am in the cafeteria.
The entry gate opens at 8:30am. There is NO student supervision prior to 8:30am.

Campus

Only students will be allowed on campus on day 1. We will have plenty of staff members helping students to find their classrooms.

Bell Schedule

Click here to view our complete bell schedule for the 2025-26 school year. School start time is 9:00am and dismissal at 3:15pm, except Wednesdays dismissal is at 2:27pm.

Important Forms for Families to Complete BEFORE the First Day of School

In preparation for the 2025/26 school year, there is a very important document required by California to be completed. This data is used to determine additional funding and services for each school site.

Please take a few minutes to complete and submit the following:

Household Income/Housing Questionnaire

Aeries Parent Portal

Student Data Confirmation for the 2025/26 is all set up and ready in the Aeries Parent Portal for parents/guardians to complete. EVERY family will need to complete this prior to the first day of school. The data confirmation process asks to verify items and make changes to information such as emergency contact information.

ParentSquare - Communication Tool

We will continue to use Parent Square this year for communications with families. Parent Square will enable families to keep in touch & up to date with all that is going on. Please make sure you are able to log in to our home communication system. IMPORTANT information and updates throughout the year will be available here: Parent Square Sign-in

Parent/Student Handbook

Families may find electronic copies of the 2025-2026 Parent/Student Handbook on the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District's website under the Family Resource dropdown menu.
