It has been so nice welcoming our students and families back to the building! We have seen so many smiling faces and watched our students adjust to being back to school so well! We hope to have a very productive year together!

Our goal this year is for staff and students to make meaningful growth!

This goal can take many forms...

Leadership is focusing on making meaningful growth in the area of providing instructional feedback.

Teachers are focusing on making meaningful growth in the areas of instructional practices.

Students are focusing on making meaningful growth in the area of active classroom participation.

• The tardy bell rings at 7:45 am.
• If your child is absent from school for any reason, please send a written note explaining why your child was absent. Only 10 parent notes are allowed per school year. Medical excuses are encouraged when possible. If needed, you will find a template for your parent notes linked below.
• Please be mindful of late arrivals and early dismissals. If your child is missing the same periods of the school day repeatedly, that could cause him or her to miss key academic periods. We do not want anyone to fall behind. Also, please be mindful that for your child to be counted present for a school day, he or she must be in attendance for 4 or more hours.
• Unless it is an emergency, early dismissals from the office end at 2:00 pm to allow the faculty to make sure that students have a smooth dismissal process.
• If your child will be going home a different way from what had been anticipated, please let the front office know (not your child's teacher) by 2:00 pm to ensure the message is received.

Please ask your child's teacher for a flyer to be sent home, if you wish!

Copies of the attached form should be in your child's book bag. After your review, please sign and return them with your child.
