WHERE IS BATH TECH? EVERYWHERE!!! WHERE IS BATH TECH? EVERYWHERE!!!

staff school visits

On November 3rd, Bath Tech staff took full advantage of Professional Development Day! Each instructor visited a different CTE school and program where they could observe classrooms, connect with fellow instructors, and learn from one another.

Throughout their visits, instructors explored a variety of topics including curriculum, live work, scheduling, supplies, assessment practices, student placements, industry connections, industry standards, and SkillsUSA.

Staff members shared how valuable the experience was and highlighted the new ideas, connections, and takeaways they gained from their visits. The opportunity to step outside their own programs, see what other schools are doing, and exchange ideas with fellow CTE educators was incredibly beneficial.

This was a great opportunity for professional growth, collaboration, and bringing fresh ideas back to Bath Tech!

MED SCIENCE STUDY SKIN WOUNDS MED SCIENCE STUDY SKIN WOUNDS

Students participated in a hands-on learning activity to better understand the integumentary system by creating simulated wounds. This activity allowed students to explore the different layers of the skin, identify how injuries affect the body, and understand the skin's important role in protection. Through this experience, students learned about the body's natural healing process, infection prevention, and the importance of proper wound care. The activity provided an engaging, hands-on way to connect classroom learning to real-life situations.
