Dear LLM 4-H families,
HAPPY NEW YEAR! The beginning of the year is the perfect time to set goals for what you want to do in 4-H in 2026. I encourage you to take time to to set SMART goals.
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Relevant
- Time-line
An example of a SMART goal might be: " By county fair in July, I will learn to back three different cookie recipes (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, sugar) from scratch, practicing once a week and documenting each attempt in my recipe notebook to improve my baking skills and enter at least one successful recipe at fair."
Here are a few reminders:
- 4-H Club leaders need to turn in their End of Year treasurer report by January 29th.
- Plan to attend the 4-H Open House on February 17th from 4-6 at the Extension Office.
- Get enrolled in 4-H at https://v2.4honline.com.
