A Look Back at our New Years Resolution Interviews π
A New Year isnβt just about fireworks or staying up lateβitβs like hitting the reset button on your life. Pretty cool, right? Thatβs where New Yearβs resolutions come in! Resolutions are simply goals you set for yourself to grow, improve, or try something new. Thereβs no pressure to be perfectβjust a chance to level up a little and start fresh.
Looking back on New Yearβs, many resolutions were made, but only some were followed through. Over half of the seven people I interviewed actually kept their resolutions, while the rest either didnβt make one or didnβt stick with it. Most people said they chose not to make a resolution because they knew it would be hard to keep. I didnβt make one either, mainly because I donβt think I would have the endurance to keep it going, and I might forget about it when it mattered most. I give major props to the people who were able to stick with their resolutionsβI know I wouldnβt even come close to some of the accomplishments others achieved.

There's an APP for that!!!
There is a new App that can and will be used throughout the Parish to report things anonymously from your phone, iPad, or computer-The Close Watch App.

Crimes and thefts can be reported, either in school or out, and it can prevent mass casualty incidents with just a few key strokes.
See something, say something, itβs right at your fingertips!
It's in the App Store called Calcasieu Close Watch or click the eye to go directly to the link.
