Charger Check-In

🍁Give Thanks! 🍁

Dear SCA Families,

As we enter the month of November, a time centered on gratitude and reflection, we are reminded of how truly blessed we are to be part of such a vibrant and faith-filled community here at St. Catherine of Alexandria.

This month is filled with so many moments to be thankful for; from All Saints’ Day Mass, to Veterans Day celebrations, to our upcoming Alumni Mass! These events remind us of the power of giving and compassion. Each gathering is a reflection of who we are as a school family... rooted in faith, learning, and love for one another.

As we gather, pray, and serve together, may we continue to thank God for the gift of our children, our teachers, and our parish family. Let us carry hearts of gratitude into every classroom, hallway, and home.

Wishing you all a blessed and joy-filled long weekend!

God Bless and Go Chargers,

Ms. Zerth

As we end each school day, let us remember that safety and order help us care for the children God has entrusted to us. Thank you for partnering with us in creating a peaceful dismissal for all our Chargers.

Please remember:
- 🌟 Remain along the outer perimeter of the parking lot during dismissal.
- 🙏 Remind our littlest Chargers to stay away from exit doors, classroom windows, and railings.
- 💙 This helps teachers keep students safe and focused as they pack up for the day.
- 👋 Staying in designated areas allows teachers to ensure each child safely connects with the person authorized to pick them up.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and for helping us keep our school family safe under God’s loving care.

Please Review PowerSchool to support your child's academic success!

The first trimester ends on Friday, Nov. 14th. Report cards will be sent home Thursday, Nov. 20th.

Water Bottle Policies *

We encourage students in 3rd-8th grade to continue bringing reusable water bottles to school; however, water bottles must be transluscent and made of plastic (no glass or metal bottles).

This policy does not apply to students in PK-2nd grade. We recognize that virtually all water bottles for young children are opaque and usually made of metal.
Regardless of grade level, water is the only liquid students are permitted to have in the classroom.

*We have noticed some students are drinking energy drinks in the morning. Please be mindful of what your child is putting into their bodies and the effects this could have on them both daily and over the long haul. To reduce on students putting these drinks in water bottles, we are asking that clear or translucent water bottles are being utilized. As a reminder energy drinks and soft drinks are not allowed at school.
