BPES Little Titans Newsletter
May 2, 2025 BPE : Make Your Mark
Message from Mrs. Schneid
Dear BPE Families-
Our 3rd and 4th grade students have completed their State Testing in both ELA and Math. They worked very hard preparing this school year and during their Celebration of Knowledge. Thank you to all our 3rd and 4th grade teachers, staff and parents for all you do to help prepare them.
All students K-4 will now be starting our EOY MAP assessments. Kindergarten will only complete ELA, as grades 1-4 will complete ELA and Math. This will give teachers, students and families feedback on their academic growth from Fall to Spring.
Have a great weekend!

Popcorn Palooza Student Reflections!🍿🍿
The popcorn smelled really good when we came to school this morning!
Once in our classrooms, we got ready for our work day at the Popcorn Palooza.
First, we put on our uniform hats and name badges.
Then, the managers, bankers and cashiers went to work counting and bundling Titan Tickets.
Next, the bagging crew takes the tickets and FILL the orders. Today, we filled 107 bags!
Finally, our delivery crew dropped off the boxes at each classroom and even took some to our amazing adult helpers! Our clean up crew returned our pod area to a neat and tidy space. It was a fun experience once again.
We’d like to SHOUT OUT …
Mrs. Anagnostu & Mrs. Cordon who helped us with making our badges in Maker Space months ago!
Ms. Mary and Miss Maggie in the office for ordering our much needed supplies!
Ms. Margaret and the Cafeteria Ladies for washing all of our machine washable equipment!
Mrs. K and Mrs. D, our instructional aides, for all the copies and helping us while we work!
Mr. Mac and custodial staff for bringing up ALL of our boxes of popcorn and supplies!
Mrs. Schneid, Mr. Carnabuci, & Mrs. Capacetti for taste testing and supporting us in our endeavors!!
ALL of our PARENTS who reminded us to wear our Green T-shirts and tie our hair back!
Miss Boltz for helping to post the announcements … AND ALL the third grade teachers for giving us this chance to be a part of a business!

Securly for Parents
Our district utilizes Securly for Parents.
The Securly Parent Portal gives parents the ability to view online activity outside of the classroom, such as sites browsed, social media use and activity, and items searched. Parents can also set controls outside school hours. We encourage parents to download the Securly Home app. The app will help to safeguard your child’s online activity when devices come home and give you more control.

These small spaces in our schools do very big things. Our TLC rooms, which stand for Titan Loving Care, are full of basic necessities like school supplies, clothes, hygiene products, food, and other essentials for students in need. Often times, students may experience barriers in life, overall impacting their education. The goal of our TLC rooms is to provide students with the basic resources they need to succeed in school and to help reduce barriers to education. TLC rooms are stocked through community donations.
